Billing Assistant – Edinburgh – Office Based – Full Time – Permanent
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading legal firm for a Billing Assistant to join their established Finance Team in Edinburgh. This is a permanent, full-time, office-based position offering a great opportunity to develop a long-term career in a professional services environment.
The Role:
Working as part of a busy finance function, you will:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual billing schedules and fee notes
- Support fee earners with reviewing and processing billing information
- Assist with general finance administration tasks
- Provide support and training to colleagues across the business where needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail and a process-driven approach
- Confident numeracy and excellent IT skills (MS Office & Excel)
- Previous experience in a finance role preferred (billing, accounts, or invoicing)
- Legal or professional services background is helpful but not essential
- Strong communication skills and a positive, flexible attitude
